Habitat loss is one of the main threats to elephants. Climate change makes portions of elephants’ habitat will become significantly hotter and drier. The climate change puts calfs and adult elephants at risk of dying. Another threat is human populations taking over more and more elephant habitat. Also poaching for ivory are added threats that are placing the elephant’s future at risk. (I got some info help at defendorsofwildlife.org)
