Wonder draft

The book Wonder by R.J. Palacio is about a boy who faces many challenges in fifth grade. It's from the perspective of many challenging people along with a boy that has a disordered face, named August. August is a boy with a disordered face in fifth grade. He gets bullied in fifth grade. A lot of August’s friends try to help ‘protect’ Auggie so he does not get bullied as much, like he did in the beginning of the story. August's face is what makes him himself. He's normal on the inside but on the outside he is one of a kind.

Throughout the story August was judged by his face. Just his face. No one really knew how smart and talented he was until they hung out with him. The other students just knew him as some awkward looking psycho with a weird face. Not a normal kid like he really is. Especially Julian, who just thinks August is just a big joke, and has some sort of 'cheese touch' kind of the thing. Lots of rumors started to spread thru out the story, to make fun of August.

Also in the story, during fifth grade camp August and Jack went into the woods to go to the bathroom (the bathroom line was to long) and they ran into four seven and eighth graders. They beat up Auggie, Jack, and a few other kids (named Amos, Henry, and Miles). The eighth graders began making fun of Auggie and calling Auggie him names like '"What happened to your face?" "Hey guys I didn't know we were watching lord of the rings... look guys its Gollum'”. Then Amos, Jack, Hennery, and Miles stood up and started fighting back, for Auggie. They started fighting back and protecting Auggie.

By the end of the story Auggie was treated with more and more respect. He got a Henry Ward Beecher medal. As Mr. Tushman was introducing the medal he was explaining how well Auggie was working and interacting with others. For Example '"strength was carried with the most hearts"'. This shows that Auggie gained his strength to use for others, he interacts with.

Don't judge anyone by their face. In the book Wonder I learned that everyone is different and equal. I think that Auggie and other people like him should be treated more like a normal kid. My cousin is just like Auggie. She has a deformed face, we get along together, after a while you just get used to what they look like.

Dead or Alive

I know a clown this is a short story of how I met him

One late and stormy night there was a flash of lightning. Then suddenly I noticed something out side of my window it was laying on the ground. I went outside and noticed it was a clown the white clown makeup was dripping off of his face and its bright red hair was sopping wet. Then I kicked a shiny red pebble onto him and It bounced off and turned as black as coal. I told my mom that I think he got electrocuted when he was trying to win the lottery!

Then one sunny morning I saw the clown out my window, he looked blinded by the sun. Then a cat jumped onto him and stole his tongue. A few hours later my mom told the clown to get out of her hair. After a while I had chores like getting the clown to stop saying hay because he’s not a horse and to get him to close the door because he used to live in a barn. My mom also had a daily routine call the hospital, go to the mall, call the hospital, and make coffee… Every day I see the clown Getting killed a bench or getting eaten by viscous cats.

A few years later I go off to college and my parents retire. The clown says “daa waa paa goo doo daa faaatttssss.” Here I’ll translate “ I want to go live with the cats,” his words not mine! So we let him off the leash.

Grape Shooter

It was a plain afternoon, and me and my brother were doing homework. I was eating grapes and I started stuffing one after one into my mouth. Then my brother started squeezing them out of my mouth. One went all the way across the kitchen! I was like the human grape catapult thingy. As my brother would say grape shooter. Then my brother called himself a ghost and put my blue and black cheetah print blanket over him self and said "sup bro" and was running around everywhere.

Wonder

The book Wonder is about a boy who faces many challenges in fith grade. It's from the perspective of many challenging people. August is a boy with a disorderd face. He gets bullied in fith grade but his friends make sure this dose not happen. Agust's face is what makes him him. He's normal on the inside but on the outside he is one of a kind.

Throughout the story Agust was judged by his face. Just his face. No one really new how smart he was till they hung out with him. The other students just new him as some awkward looking physco. Not a normal kid like he really is. Especially Julian, who just thinks Agust is just a big joke, and has some sort of 'cheese touch' kind of thing.

Auggie is a normal person, but he gets bullied throughout fifth grade he can't help it, just I think some kids just need a tendency to pick on people sometimes. It's weird why someone would do that to another person. I think that Julian should take a break from bullying people. I am happy, that Julian school. He wasn't there anymore to bully Augst around.

I think at the end of the book, and sixth grade Auggie gets treated a lot better. Hes not bullied anymore by other kids, he's treated like a normal person. I think he deserves to be treated like a normal person, he is the person after all. Are you from everyone appearances it's like, everybody thinks he is like what he's like on the outside and in the inside.

in sixth grade that everybody's nice after all, they are just shy around him. It doesn't matter what you look like it matters, you are in the inside. From the book wonder I learned basically to never judge anything by its cover. Always see what's inside of it first or how the person really ask or what the book or the person is really about.  Wonder taught me how to realize things in different ways.

Snow

It was Saturday after noon and I dind not know what to blog about. Than it came pouring down, it was snowing I was so happy. I ran out side as it melted on my skin. My sister was trying to make a snowman, my brother was trying to chuck snowballs at me and I was was standing there, doing absolutely nothing besides standing and watching. When suddenly buckets of rain started hurdling down, the rain was coming down so fast it noted my sister over onto her two headed melting snowman.

Why Pigs?

My sister is obsessed with pigs, so obsessed that she painted a pig onto her forhead, I don't what you think but I think it's rediclous. My sister got this giant pig floaty thing for Christmas. We tried it out at our uncles indoor pool. The color came off of it so now his pool is pink. My dad said he would pay for the new water and every thing. But my uncle insisted that he couldn't. After all he is a pretty wealthy guy.

Christmas

It was Christmas morning and all through the house. It was 7 AM and we all woke up, we ran downstairs to see what we got it was by turd first and I ripped the paper open and I found an iPad mini. I was so excited I was jumping up-and-down and squealing like a little girl! It was the best present I got for Christmas.

When we were on our way to Teledo, Ohio I booted it up and downloaded apps and music. Once we got to Toledo me, my sister and two other cousins (Madison and Hannah) made a rediclous I movie!
