On Christmas

We go to my aunt Debbie's house. We leave early in the morning and get there around lunch time (she lives in Cincinnati, Ohio). All of my aunts uncles cousins and all of my dad side is at the party we have and turduncan (chicken stuffed in duck stuffed in Turkey). We always have a lot lots of fun! We open presents about two hours after we get there, then we normally have an early dinner and that's when we have to turduncan. After we leave or my aunts house, we drive for about a half an hour. We end up at the Dubois's house where my aunt, uncle, and two cousins live. There we eat a snack type dinner type thing and open presents they have a really big really awesome basement so we end up playing there for a few hours! Then around 930 or 10 we had home. Once we get to my house we are already in our pajamas and we brush our teeth and hop in bed and wake up the next morning... 

Movie

I made a movie with my friends a long time ago

The movie is about a girl who hasn't figured out her life yet, and she's having a party at her house (she lives on a farm) she is trying to understand her and her friends life

While she's in love her sister is injured  and her friend is in a bad stage of life, all of the girls along with two boys are determined to find out every secret in each others life.

Before Christmas

It is almost Christmas and I want to be here soon! We have the week of Christmas off of school. Christmas. It sounds so wonderful and awesome! This week I am going to Christmas a party over the weekend on Sunday. My grandparents and dad's brother's family! Grandma, grandpa, my dad, my mom, my uncle, my aunt , cousins, brother, sister, and me are all going to be there. There are going to be a lot of people! And Christmas eve my moms sister and her family are coming over, dad, mom, uncle, aunt, cousins, brother, sister, and me! We all have lots of fun and I get to open presents a bit early this year!

Corn Dog Stand

I was skipping down the sidewalk of Grand Haven entering the line. Once I got to the front of the line I handed the lady a five dollar bill.
"Can I have two plain hot dogs and a bag of chips?" I asked
"Yes sweetie here is your change, your dogs will be out in a minute." the lady said
"Okay" I replied. It tasted so good and it was hot in my mouth.

In Grand Haven, our condo is right across the street from an icecream shop. My family went there every day. I got vinilla and choclate swirl dipped in choclate, that's what I got every time! It was an awesome vacation!

"Here you go" And now I got back to being mad
'Because she gave it to me because. I helped her none of you did" I yelled in frustration for the fith time. I yanked it from Sofie and started to walk away all of them ran up in single file asking for one I counted all of them then counted the hershy kisses inside
there's only one left for me I Sid with a sad face.
Each of my little cousins said
"Well then only I should get one!" said Britney
"No" said Ann, as the finding just continued on!

Retired is about an old lady. She considers doing so much, until she gets a dog. This dog brings joy to her life and does so much with her. The dogs name is Princess, but the old lady changes it to Velma. Velma came from a family with three kids she looked after these kids until they move to Paris. They can not bring Velma with them thou so they have to sell her too the old lady. 

I think that Velma and the old lady will grow up to have a great next few years! Velma will make the old lady happy, and make her enjoy more things. Before the old lady got Velma the old lady was a miserable mess. Now she is almost as happy as can be. When the old lady finally realizes that Velma is a joy bringer!

Wonder

In Wonder by R.J. Palacio, Auggie changes by expressing himself more than he did at the beginning. At the beginging of the book everybody knew him as "Rat Face" now they know him as Auggie. On page 307 Auggie thinks "Suddenly I feel like my face doesn't matter any more".

The Beach

It was a sunny day in Grand Haven and we (my family) decided to go to the beach! We were joined by two  other families the Palmkeoks and the Josephs we went to so many different parts of the beach it was so much fun here are a few things we did on the west side of the beach!

Mrs. Roberts

"Dyson Mingo" Mrs. Roberts said enpatiently.
"What" Dyson said in a moaning voice.
"Colette Minor"
"Here" I said in a small voice

As Mrs. Roberts continued calling names for attendance, me and Olivia started talking to each other.

"Okay everybody" Mrs Roberts said in her England accent. "we are going to talk about math today and see what you know!"

Jude's hand shot up, I could already tell he was going to be the teachers pet. Mahlah, Grace, Sophia, Alex, and Ellie were the popular girl group. There are a few wannabes in the class to but it would be rude to say them. I decided there were different groups and with different levels. After a lot of taking I personally got to learn about Mrs. Roberts a lot on the first day of math.

"So," Mrs Roberts said in an accent again "We will have a long unit(s) about fractions. For example, adding fractions, subtracting fractions, turnibg mixed numbers into inproper fractions and back, multiplying fractions, and dividing fractions!"

I was surprised how much you can do with fractions! And that's how I met Mrs Roberts!

Acorns

My little cousin came over to my house last night (we had a party). Here's a song my 4 year old cousin wrote about acorns.(his name is Ellis)

Acorns acorns, I love them when there hot, love them when there cold theres nothing bad about the mistical world of acorns! When I see one craked on the ground, I dig a hole in my backyard make a gravestone and burry it. Acorns such odd mistical things. Don't you just love the smell of acorns on a fresh day!

Thanksgiving

On thanksgiving, we walked into my grandparents house I was greeted by many different species like dogs, lizards, cats... My grandma asked me if I had anything to share and
I said "Yes! I wrote a poem"

Dune Buggy

There we were on to of the one of  tallest dune buggy  dunes in grand haven, my dad told me we were going to see the dunes but I never knew from this far above. We were seated in a rusty old hot red jeep, with nothing else but a little rope holding us down.When we got to the hills my dad stopped the truck and turned himself around.

"Guys," my dad said "This might be a bit 'WOW' but we need to try new things sometimes." he said softly. A minute later we were Driving up to the top of the hill when,

"Please NO,NO,NO" I said scared to death

"No daddy" squealed my sister. My brother didn't say anything, it looked like he fainted to me.

"Stop complaining and close your eyes cause WE are going down" my dad said in a happy but strict voice. In a second flat I heard the wind whistling in my ear, I could not see what was in front of us because the hill was so steep. My sister snatched my body and hung on. Then I heard nothing my mind went blank the jeep was no longer bumping along the ground.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh" my brother said in such a high pitch voice that it was hard to hear, my dad stomped the brakes as my mom opened her eyes she had sand stuck to her face.

"Wow" my mom said in a startled voice, as the jeep screached along the ground when the engine turned off.

"Let's do it again!" My dad hollered.My dad started up the another hill as my mom dusted off her sun glasses.

At that moment when we were driving up the hill I realized that I actually thought that I liked our hill ride it was exciting and I tried something new which was great. And I learned that I can try something new when ever I want!

 There we were on top of the one of  tallest dune buggy dunes in Grand Haven, my dad told me we were going to see the dunes but I never knew from this far above. We were seated in a rusty old hot red jeep from ‘Tucans Beach’. As we drove away I noticed that there was nothing else but a little rope holding us down.We drove every wich way till we got to th hill my dad drove up and a few small hills.

Saugatauk (Grand Haven)

We went to Saugatauk it was awesome! I went to so many stores and got do many things. Saugatauk was gorgeous we went paddle boarding, shopping, swimming, and we also saw a steam ship type thing that was so cool. My favorite part of Saugatauk was the colors It was the most color ful town I have ever been to we saw so many colorful boats, bikes, planes, houses, etc...

Dancing Waters (Grand Haven)

It was another night in Grand Haven and we decided to go to the dancing waters it was boring the hole way through, but I will tell you about it anyways! So it started with an array of lights with crudy springs of water spewing out of miniature nozzles. There was fairy tale music from Cinderella playing in the background.

Michigan Aventure

It was 10:00 and Michigan Adventure just opened  I was waiting for my friend in the parking lot I was so excited! We started by going on mad mouse it was my least favorite. Next we walked over to a restaurant we ate there,  I was texting my cousin as she walked into the resultant. She was drenched in water  u had no clue why! I went on the water ride that she went on, it was fun and scary at the same time. The ride was my favorite the name was funnel something, it was a giant  pink and yellow funnel that was so big that more than 100 people could fit in it!
  

Hugo

Hugo is a young boy, no family with him his uncle died a few years back and all he's doing now is writing with a dream.
I am Hugo Cabret. I live under the roofs of Paris. I have discovered a mysterious drawing that changed my life forever. It was a fresh day and It was the year of 1931, and Hugo I was ready to make my steal. The toy shop man had finished his talking to a little girl, and closed his eyes to take a rest. I ran down the hallway through the air vent to find myself at the door to the toy both I saw what I had needed to finish part of the body I took a grab for it and suddenly...........To Be Continued...........

Turkey

Turkey

 

 

Mr. Turkey walked into my house one evening.  He was dressed in a suit that was too small and he was flaring his big yellow, orange and brown tail feathers to get attention.  He came late, but just in time for dinner!  For dinner we were going to have turkey, but we could not because of Mr. Turkey.  Instead we had gravy and mashed potatoes. Mr. Turkey did not like that so I made him an omelet.   After dinner and desert, Mr. Turkey had a big fight with Uncle Murry!  Everyone was dead silent, except for the two fighting!  They were fighting for which team was going to win the football game.  Everyone was trying to make them shut up but they would not, they kept blabbering on and on! They both got to the point where Mr. Turkey’s gobble was about to explode and Murry’s face was as bright and as pink as a piece of bubble gum!  They ended up cooling down but they were still mad. Then Aunt Deb started to laugh and said “You guys are so funny! You guys were fighting till 5:00 in the morning because the game went overtime. The teams were tied until then!”

            Everyone started to clear out.  But I could tell Uncle Murry or Mr. Turkey, one of them at least, was not going to come to Christmas this year.   All that meant for me was I was getting one less present this year, and a family breakout!

Five Nights at Freddy's

"Why, are you talking still? You are supposed to be doing homework." said my dad in a frustrated voice. I said in a whisper "sorry,sorry,sorry." "hey pierce, what's the most popular app?" "Well" said my brother "there is five nights at Freddy's and..." my brothers voice trailed off into a mumbling silence as I typed the name into the search bar in the app store. "five nights at Freddy's. Right?" "Wait, you are actually getting that stupid game? You know that everybody is scared of that dumb thing." "I know" I said "it's just that I'm bored and I need something to do instead of homework." 

Anastasia

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to mom! Happy birthday to you!" My whole family sang in harmony as my mom blew out her candles. We all watched my mom cut the first slice of cake. The cake was a small circle with raspberries and white chocolate sprinkled about. My mom cut more slices as my dad scooped ice cream into little bowls. Every body cheered as she took her first bite, and my sister yelled "dig in" and then my sister dumped her face into her cake and then pushed mine into my cake, I shrieked and started hitting the air!

Biko

              "What's wrong with her daddy?" I said in my five year old voice holding her in my hands "I'm not sure Lettie, but I will figure it out" said my dad. "Promise" said my brother trying to hold his tears in. Twenty minutes later my dad came back to our rusty old cottage in Canada. He pulled a cage out of the passenger seat along with five pounds of dog food and a brand new dog bed. My dad came inside me and my brother were waiting on our latter (the entry to our loft/bedroom.) Me and my brother hauled the dog food dog bed and cage up the ladder. We poured dog food into a bowl set op the bed in the corner of the room were all of her stuff was already, we opened the cage door me and my brother closed our eyes and Biko walked right up to me and started to lick my face. I opened my eyes and ran my fingers through her soft fur. My brother hugged her and gave her a treat. "Pierce, look!" I said studying her stitches. "What is it?" I strongly asked. "her stitches Colette." said my brother. I smiled and said "Biko were twins!" I pointed to my eye and lip.At the end of the day all that I cared about was that my dog was safe, stitches or no stitches she was healthy and healed!

No One Home

No One Home


There was no one home not a sound in the house. I was all alone. I walked into the family room the T.V. was on, I ran every witch way to make sure everything was locked. I got back to the family room the T.V. Was still on. I got my books and binders out of my backpack, I started doing my math homework, you know what they say save the best for last. 10 minutes later I heard a knock on the door I set the AT&T alarm and ran into the basement, the phone started to ring, and there now was banging on the door witch set of the alarm. I couldn't here my self think over the noise, I ran up stairs and looked out the window I saw a police car in my drive way parked behind a white van. The police officer saw me and nodded his head towards the door so I opened it. 10 minutes later, my dad was home the whole time but he was asleep and the white van was the ACT Now Alarm guy to see what was up with the alarm. So at the end of the day no one was in trouble except for me!

Mean Jean

                     Mean Jean is mean although her name is not jean she always wares them.

                      One day her friend asked "Can I borrow your sharpie?" "Sure" I said.
          The next thing you know my sharpie is now in two with blue ink leaking out
          every ware! A few days later Mean Jean asked can I borrow you sharpie I said  "no"  I said
          trying to gain confidence, then I walked away ever since then mean jean has been
          a lost thought in my mind.

           My cousin met Allyson in high school she had an incident just like this but with a phone, something similar happened
To me but not with a sharpie. Every one has a moment something like this in life, it may not be this basic but it is still a way to get bullied.
